hard day today
Well this is my second day staying sober.. had gotten to have Christmas with my family and then after it was done and on the way home.. my wife tells me she's leaving me.. back at it alone now that she's at her parents house... I'm gonna do what I can to make it through this today.. I've found some meetings to go to..and I'm going to attend..I can't stand anymore loss in my life due to this.. I've taken all my alcohol and threw it out.. just gonna take it one step at a time and not let this thing defeat me.. thanks for listening

I'm packing my things as I type this.. I can say I've hit rock bottom... I've lost everything.. I'm goin to some meetings and talking to people that are in the same boat as me.. its nice to have all you guys around and to know I'm not alone in this. I am scared though as I'm moveing to a place to where I'm gonna be alone.. well ill have my dog but you know.... Ima try to get through this and stay sober.. I did start to drink again after I got the news I was being left again.. but I did put it down and working on staying sober.. just sometimes the world falls apart and I don't know what to do.. thank all you for listening..

Well guys... I attended my first AA meeting tonight... I got my 24 hour sobriety coin and it feels good.. it was good to talk to people face to face that are like me and understand.. I received the big book and I'm actually going to read it.. that says a lot for me to do.. I hate to read.. but it was an awesome experience and I'm going to go back every week.. well twice a week.. thank you guys
