day 5
just want to check in and let everyone know i am doing well!
i haven't had any cravings and i have started a journal. i also just purchased a book on buddhism... i feel like this spiritual avenue is more appropriate for me than the AA approach. i have been stumbling in my spiritual life lately and i am excited to start actively seeking a spiritual foundation.
i am more confident sobriety will "stick" this time than i have been in the past. i will be traveling over the holidays (any AUS or NZ members, i am heading your way!) so i will not be posting much, but wish me luck
i am still reading everyday and appreciate you all contributing... let's keep it up!!

Great job irishgirl!! Good luck with the trip. Stay as close as you can to this place and never forget that drinking = disaster. Let us know how the book is. I'm forever struggling with my spirituality so I'd be interested to hear what you think.
