Day 10 here. The process is moving along.
Trying to buy a new car. I hate that whole expereince. It can be a pain.
therapy tomorrow.
Face is healing. The black eyes have faded but still visible.
My boss will be sending out the notice of my promotion now that the swelling has gone down.
still not even an incling to drink. I cannot entertain that in my head at all. In fact I read about other starting over and cannot connect like i did. I cannot ever let that happen.
Starting to go through old stuff in basement to sort and get rid of things. Lighten the load.
Feel sharp... steady hand.... sad heart... sober thoughts.

With maintaining a firm foundation in sobriety, the up's & down's i get the feeling you're more than capable of dealing with it K, even if it don't feel to wonderful at the moment and have a lot to deal with .

Day 10

Above my tv is a collection of important,
useful, helpful, encouraging recovery sayings
framed for me to look upon each of my sober
days forever reminding me that each has a
perfect meaning to guide me thru my recovery
journey.
EASY DOES IT - FIRST THINGS FIRST - LIVE AND LET LIVE
BUT FOR THE GRACE OF GOD - THINK THINK THINK
Then in the center of all of those sayings is a frame
picture of The Man On The Bed with Dr. Bob and Bill Wilson.
(If you google the man on the bed it will saw you that
picture with the story behind it.)
Anyway, First Things First and formost today is to
not pick up that first drink. Then the rest will follow.
