Can you go to the ER if it gets bad? They have to take you if you go.

Call 911 if you need to. I would go ahead and do it now. Why wait until it gets REALLY bad? You could die.

I know you said you are also on benzos, but they can give you something to stabilize you. Maybe then you can taper off of the benzos after you get through the alcohol withdrawals under a doctors care.

WD from benzos can take months.

I'm with Soberlicious. Can someone take you to the ER? Things can indeed go south quickly. Don't be afraid or embarrassed ( like I was ) to go. They will be enormously helpful.

I have had two significant detox instances that I would consider particularly bad. How bad are your shakes? I know that the extent of your shaking is a good indicator of the severity of your withdrawals as well as your heart rate. Keep aware and don't hesitate to visit the ER.
