Successful weekend!
Had my staff Xmas party on Friday and didn't drink / wasn't tempted.
Had a large cocktail party this afternoon, stayed a good two hours, barely knew anyone and again, not a drop of booze / wasn't tempted.
My wife is a real support for me...she also didn't drink at either party, She told me that she's well aware that I've given her the green light to drink, but she said she feels better not drinking...knowing that I'm abstaining.
I think that's quite nice of her.
Anyway, I've five months under my belt now and am feeling very good.

That sounds like quite a successful weekend. That is wonderful that your wife is being so supportive. My husband is supportive of me not drinking, but he still drinks which surprisingly doesn't bother me.

((Xune)) - Way to go!! I always worried about what others would think of me, not imbibing in the "spirit" of the party, only to find out they weren't that interested in what I did, or did not, do. Quite a humbling moment (OMG, it wasn't all about me!!) but also really cool
