People You would not think would be there for you

My land lady intervened a year ago and got me into treatment. Today I was on the phone with my mom and she mentioned they had communicated and discussed my progress and how much she likes me. Who knows?

I check in with her. I thinks she has done that but we don't talk about it.

It was funny, I really relasped a year or so ago. My land lady said you need help. I muttered I'm ok. An hour latter a Health and Family Serive person said can we gat you into treatment. It took me about 3 seconds to say yes. May have been the world's fastest intervention.

My ex-wife was very supportive. Go figure. My current wife was really surprised. I am sure she knew I had a problem when we were married. She was happy is was finally getting help.
