the 4th step
I just completed my 4th step; what an amazing feeing.Work that I've never experianced plus the feelings of what I have missed the the excitement of the future. This is the Christmas present to me for Me and to share ......
Congratulations!
I'm just starting the 4th step myself. Met with my sponsor last Saturday to go over how to make the lists and so on. It feels a little overwhelming, like it might take a few weeks to get through it, but I'm doing it.

I was soooo afraid of steps 4 and 5. Once they were over, though, I felt a huge weight off of me. It was such a blessing. So freeing. I also learned that some things I felt guilt over and thought I owed amends to people for, I really didn't. My sponsor helped me to see the good in me also; not just the character defects. It was probably my biggest life changing moment. Congratulations and keep on keeping on

Hi Along - I am so happy for you - what a beautiful gift before Christmas.
I don't think I'll be finished my step 4 before Christmas but already I've had a few cracks in the old ego - feels to me like the opening of a valve in a pressure cooker that was about to explode.
Thank you for sharing your experience. I look forward to getting there.
