Is there an (android) app for that? I'm coming to the end of day three. Except for I don't quite believe or trust myself ... keep thinking I've added a day. So I have to count on my fingers ... Friday, Saturday, Sunday ... three! Is there an android app for that? I'm doing it at least once an hour and I feel like I should really stop!:c031: |
I'd imagine there must be :) We have a sobertime calendar too...you have to enter your details everytime tho....old skool LOL SoberRecovery : Sober Time Sobriety Calculator |
Haha I like it! I'm glad that I'll have some days (and heartbeats!) under my belt before Christmas ... Christmas is usually a pretty appalling time for me (and my poor family!) drink wise. I'm hoping after a month sober I can give up smoking cigarettes too. 2013 will be good! |
Welcome, and good for you! |
Yeppers, there is an app. I got sick of counting on my fingers. https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ycounter&hl=en |
Got the app downloaded June! Thanks |
ok, i gotta download that app too, thanks |
Ooh - I'm over 800,000 heartbeats sober! |
I like this one a lot: OneRecovery https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...Vjb3ZlcnkiXQ.. It includes a meeting finder, number of days in recovery and daily meditations. :-) |
Thanks, Twestlie. I'll download that one too. Daily meditations sounds good. |
The only time that sobriety counts is now, the present moment. If you can stay sober in the present, you have this thing licked for good. |
Cool app-it's a good sign if we're tired of counting, means the days are adding up :) |
I like that One Recovery app! But one problem. It says I am on my 17th day. The other app says I have 16 days. What's a recovering-day-counting-wine-addict to do? ;) |
Now being an 'old fart' roflmao I do NOT have a Smart phone, because I refuse to text, lol However, I just got a tablet, to take with me for Drs appointments and when I travel. I loaded my Kindle on to it and have now sent my Kindle on to my half sister to use, lol I am uploading certain 'apps' to my tablet and will certain up load the two that have been mentioned above. Anymore 'apps' that can be helpful to maintaining sobriety, I would love to hear about them. Thanks so much for starting this thread. Love and hugs, |
Hey Laurie, I'm in the old fart club too. But I love gadgets :) In Yiddish they have a name for us old farts - Alter kockers. JunebugApril |
