Evenings and nights are rough for me too...I have a decaf going...I was just thinking about how the wine store is open until 11pm tonight...the old me would have no qualms about getting into my car during an ice storm, driving down the mountain at 10pm just to feed my habit while putting my life in danger because of the weather...tonight I won't though.

That's why I've kept myself so busy all day, to hopefully exhaust myself enough so I'll sleep tonight and not be too anxious.

I feel like that too sometimes. It comes on earlier now as it gets darker earlier. Strange..I used to ADORE nighttime. I hope I will again. Now I usually feel lonely.

Just stay here Fitz.. This is usually drinking time for me..nights can be long.I just get ready for bed earlier and get on SR every night.Sometimes well into the night.

Look on the bright side Fitz. You're restrained compared me. If I have the day off, it doesn't much matter what time of it is, morning, afternoon, evening I am tempted to drink.

It's 4.30 a.m here in England Fitz. I slept for a few hours but the nights bring such anxiety and fear with them. I will wait for the morning and then the fear will subside.
I do understand how tough the dark bits of the day are.
I don't want to drink though, not one bit. That brings a special kind of darkness I can do without xx

Sorry you're having a tough one. Pretty cool seeing this thread though, seeing you shining a light out across the planet, seeing all these other folks shine theirs back in response. No one's ever really alone.
