I hear ya..it gets dark here about 4pm...and the nights are so long. I have watched movies until i am sick of them ugh. Now i am on SR reading post and trying not to think about what i usually did when bored. Not every night but enough..to regret and have a hangover 3 times a week. No answer in that bottle for me. I will sip my water and pray and read and not listen to the beast of my addiction voice. it can go F itself Lol.

Funny thing, a car back fired and I hit the ground. Glad I didn't break anything. I remenber a buddy I was showing around a car backfired and he dove under a pickup. Life goes on. He was actually a pro football player but the fear gets deep in your bones. How I feel about drinking. In a few weeks it will be 9 months but I always fear that back fire.

Hang in there bud. I've been in SR for less than 12 hours now and can feel the support on a world-wide basis. Nights are bad, but they get better, and real sleep, not chemically induced rest will come again.
