Same here, day 1 for me. I have nothing in the house, pumping the chamomile tea through me and I'll probably do a lot of pacing back and forth until I tire myself out! Good luck, what's your plan for tonight?

Welcome back Nikky

I really encourage you to be honest with everyone - it's for their sakes as well as yours - you may compound the problem by withholding information too long.

As far as withdrawals go - noone here can say if it will harder this time or not...hopefully not

you know you'll find a lot of support here

I have avoided functions with free wine recently, and since today is only day 43 for me I will continue to do this for a while!
Thanks for reminding me that I was successful in the past. That's what I need to keep telling myself. The free wine incident happened to me after 6 months of sobriety, being around drinking people and at parties where there was alcohol, passing by a liquor store without even thinking about it and then BOOM. It just goes to show you (me) once you quit, how you can never have another drink.

I am going to break my late afternoon routine. Have my husband take me to a movie matinee.....go for a walk with my dog. That should help.
