I would suggest going to 90 meetings in 90 days and trying different meetings. In that time you should get to know some people and you could ask one of them. If they say no, keep trying others. I would not just announce during a meeting that you want a sponsor. Find one you can relate to and ask after the meeting.

There is great value in the personal relationship that can develop between a sponsor/sponsee. I dont think an online sponsor could provide anything close to what an in person one could. Don't give up.
