I have seen a few threads on here about the movie "Flight" and just thought I'd post another since I just saw this movie today.

All I can say is ... wow.

I saw so much of myself in Denzel's character. The lying, the denial, the rationalizing, the sneaking booze ... there were lots of AA references too, which I kind of chuckled about but they still rang true. Talk about the alcoholic's "wreckage" that they leave behind ... his character's was literal. Gave me a lot of food for thought and hit home in 1001 different ways.

I encourage everyone to go see it. Just my .02.

I saw myself portrayed in Denzel's character as well! What a great movie, especially for people fighting the urge to drink.

Flight is the best movie on addiction I've seen in my life and I've seen many. I left the movie theater balling. It touched something deep within me. It made me feel part of the greater whole.... I felt included in life instead of excluded by my addiction. The mini bar in the hotel room had hypnotic powers though lol. I've never seen one like it.

I really want to see this movie. I'd planned on seeing it with my daughters, but got tied up at work and they went on ahead. They didn't like it, but I know I will. I may just grab some popcorn and go see it all by myself

Looks good but not out in UK till Feb 2013. I've scheduled it in my diary!!

I should be 90 days by then if all goes to plan (which it will, of course!)
