Just read a post asking if they were unique because...and described their hiding of liquor, etc. I remember thinking I was unique when I first started, only to realize that there hasn't been one unique drunk on this site, in AA or anywhere else.

Thought it might be fun to really search down deep and see if there was a unique episode in drunken foolishness.

Here is the only one I can think of on my side:

My brothers learned that when sauced they could get anything they wanted it of me. I hosted an enormous 35th birthday party for my wife a few years back. My brother was visiting during preparations, and we happened to be drinking. He lives in Kuwait regularly.....he said "it's a shame I won't be around for the party". I drunkly said " you should come, it'll be fun. come on, I will pay". $4500 later for a round trip ticket that brought him in and out for one night!!!! My wife made me quit alcohol for six weeks after that jackass move.

Ouch DTx , that is a big bill for a fly in and fly out. Ughh I have some expensive experiences due to being drunk or on a binge too but not that one.

Talking trash and spending cash on the other hand , I know that one.

I would go out with a "friend" who would wait until I was just buzzed enough, then tell me she ran out of money... I wouldn't want the night to end that soon!
So I would supply the drugs and booze for the rest of the evening.
This lasted about 5 years, at 3 times a week.. You do the math.

Fool me once, shame on you, fool me for 5 years, I'm a drunk.
