Don here. Married to a woman who drinks a six pack a day, 12 pack a day on the weekends and takes Celexa, Ambien and Mobic. She was on Hyrocodone for a while till I moved out. We were married for a year. She asked me to marry her. Did I do the right thing in leaving? We have been a couple for 3 yrs but the booze and drugs and friends would not go away.

Hi Don I can't tell you if you did the right thing or not, but I can tell you that she will only stop if and when she's good and ready to. Whether or not you are or were prepared to wait for that to happen or not to happen is up to you.
