Hello, Im Julien, a recovering addict.
I just want to thank the SR community, the wonderfull admins and all fellow addicts struggling for a better life.
Im almost five years on this forum now. Sometimes i write a lot, mostly I read the stories.
Addiction is a progressive disease.
My recovery is progressive proces too. Slowly but steady Im doing better.
More and more sobertime, less and less relapses.
Awesome.
A big high five to all of you.

I could have put my hand up as an alcoholic in 1995, easily.
In fact, for my 21st birthday, I got a bottle of brandy, a bottle of Cointreau and another bottle I can't remember. Mmmmmmm, a hint?
I started going to AA in 2006.
Am just 2 years sober now.
In a much better place.
Sometimes people get it quick, others not so quick.
Keep on keepin' on.
