Quick question help needed

Hi all. I'm going through alcohol withdrawal and I just learned from my doc yesterday mild librium withdrawal. I'm in my 3rd week.

This past saturday - before I knew I was also in librium withdrawal - I found one 25mg librium in my drawer. I took it and it did nothing which now I know why.

Question is will one pill set me back to the start of my withdrawals? My doc said no especially because I didn't get a "high" from it

I'm nervous cause I was starting to feel better. Just want some piece of mind or the hard truth. Thanks!

I'm glad you talked to your dr about this.

Benzo withdrawal is hard but I don't think one pill in three weeks is going to affect recovery. You doctor doesn't think so either.

It's hard for doctors to really appreciate benzo withdrawal. How long you were on it makes a big difference. Also, while acute alcohol withdrawal lasts a matter of days, it was months before I had any semblance of physical normality.
