Advertising Conspiracy?

Why are words and phrases being linked to ads?

Is it to pay for SR?

Cool

Hey lilgolden73 ---

It's usually certain words or phrases commonly used throughout posts and threads; they show up in blue with an underline.....like on the initial Forum page where it says............:

"SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information"

You'll see the phase 'Drug Addiction Help' showing in blue/underlined, and if you run the cursor over this, up pops an add ('n btw, they're all related to recovery stuff; at least the ones I've seen). Real fun.....

It's something to do with your computer. When I sign on from home or work, I don't get that but when I sign on elsewhere it does. Drives me crazy! I guess I do have ADD but the blue lettering really distracts me.

I suppose you already know this but when I checked it out your thread was on it. Funny?

Well this does seem to be the place to be for canned phrases. Adding links to them would certainly help pay for the site. I'll let you know what I notice.
