Depression: Have any of you ever dealt with it.

I have battled this my entire life. Before I drank, during & after. I did have the pink cloud for awhile but slowly slipped back into depression.
My life is good now, so no real "reason" to be down. Yet here I find myself again & again.
I was at my wits end & afraid of relapsing & I would never allow that so I thought if it takes meds, whatever. Though I REALLY didn't want to go on them.
2 months on them & my whole outlook has changed. I'm so much more calm, happier, able to enjoy simple things again.
I wish I'd done it sooner.
You don't know until you try. You might be pleasantly surprised.
