My husband has been sober for a little over two months and our lives and relationship is greatly improved! I am grateful for this and encourage him. My concern is that even though he is sober he has not taken responsibility for our bills and had the money to do so and now I find myself on the verge of losing our home as no rent has been paid for two months!! This is unexceptable to me and when I say something to him he just screams at me! Will this behavior ever change?

Well, not everything is related to alcoholism. It could be that your husband doesn't want to be responsibile for the finances, even though he is sober. Have you considered couples counselling? It could be helpful in order to deal with the relationship issues. Is your husband doing work on himself, besides stopping drinking?

Thanks I will look into that! Before drinking came into his life he always paid the bills so I thought that would go back to normal but maybe in time it will! Takin it one day at a time! Thanks
