99 Days Sober!!! Hi Everyone Old and New SR peeps!!!!
Hi Everyone!
I haven't posted in a while or really logged into anything on my computer that didn't have to do with work! Well it's after 1am where I am so I'm taking the time while I'm up still to check in & see what's been happening around SR!
I'm at 99 days today, it really is by the grace of God and the support of my husband, counselors, friends & AA.
If you are here on this site & this is all strange & new - that's okay. It all is a little much to take in all at once. The good thing is, you are here, looking for answers & trying to find your way. That is where the healing begins.
Some days for me are just an hour at a time & other days are easier. Some days I want to scream from the roof & other days I am peaceful and content. What I know right now at 99 days sober is this....
I cannot drink, no matter what.
That has to be my motto or I will go back to the hellish life that I was living in before - the merry-go-round of destruction that I clung so tightly to.
You don't have to drink again if you don't want to. There is help. Come to SR & post, check out an AA meeting, check out other recovery options. There is hope, there truly is.
I'm rooting for you all! This place is awesome
