Well Dan if it's something you feel you have to do then I hope you do it and it prompts you to re-evaluate giving recovery another shot. I'm assuming you have already started drinking again. If you haven't just try not doing it for an hour or so and build on that. Unfortunately I know that if someone wants to drink or use there is never normally anything anyone can do to stop them so I just hope you are safe and ok mate.

Natom.

I believe everyone can stay sober Dan- but I've known quite a few people who convinced themselves otherwise.

It never got better for me drinking..in the end drinking always bought me back to my knees. It's inevitable.

I had to try something different.

Don't let fear or despair convince you otherwise Dan - if you want to, there's no reason you can't get sober.

Feel free to have another go at sobriety Dan. If it was easy SR would not exist.

I tried so many times, but it can stick in the end. Sobriety can be embraced

Well, it seems like you want to quit or you would not be be here.

What are your reasons for not be able to quit?

Sorry that you have made the choice to return to drinking.

For me I had to totally give up and stop fighting everything and everybody. I had to believe that alcoholism was a a cronic, progressive, and fatal malady. I had to be willing to make real change in my life. I became willing to do whatever was necessary to stay sober. It is only then that the door of sobriety opened for me
