Thinking about going back to NA..

I'm so scared though. The idea of having a sponsor and having to work steps and share and all that other stuff is scary.. I used to attend meetings regularly but never made a full comminmet or got a sponsor.

I guess part part of it is that I don't nessecarily agree with everything that is in NA.

And another part is I have such a fear of change..

Run...don't walk.

Drugs are creating ruin in your life, yet your addiction has you scared of NA? All the more reason to go. And work the program.

Good luck.

Jake,

The idea of sorting anything out in our crazy shambles of a life is scary. All I can recommend is to follow suggestions from people in NA. I went into NA, didn't get a sponsor, didn't follow suggestions, just didn't do much. I relapsed. Now I am working through the steps with my sponsor and listening to the guys who are sitting there all serene with 10+ years clean behind them. And guess what I'm clean and I'm happy!
