My sister just overdosed
I am posting this about 5 minutes after the ambulance has left with my sister.once again she has overdosed and will live thru it.I went downstairs and heard her gasping I tried to wake her and she was unresponsive,her skin was cold and her lips were turning blue.Not only did I lose a friend today,my sister almost died too.This is about the fifth time the medics have been here for her in as many months.The craziest part of it was when they revived her she immediatly started lyin!!!All this in the name of pain managment!!What a crock!I am really sick and tired of this nonsense....thank god it wasnt me ridin in the back of that bus tonite.But for the grace of god..thanks for listenin-Trish.

AhTrish, what a horrible day you've had! I hope your sister will see this as a wake up call. You make sure you take care of you however! With this much pressure and stress you come and find support from the people who care about you. Many prayers coming your way!

Thank you all so much my SR family,you guys are the bomb!!!As I post this she is on her way home..time for me to visit the nar-anon forum!Times are tough but with your help and the help of my aa friends so am I!!One day at a time I will get through...bless you all-Trish.. :sink

Update on sis
Thank you all for your prayers and support!!We did an intervention of sorts which was very difficult since the option was treatment or the shelter,thankfully she finally chose treatment.I am tired out and left with some residual feelins,with the medics here ,police ect..brought back memories of my own usin days.Got me feelin alittle down I guess..Thanks again you guys are the best!!! Trish.
