The day is almost over. I did ok. Dealt with an employee and I was polite, helpful, just a dandy boss. I don't have a crazy craving to drink. I will be going home in about an hour. NO HEADACHE!!!!! YAY! Oh please let this evening be peaceful and sober. I live about 3 blocks from my work. No liquor stores along the way. I have not gone anywhere except work and home for 9 days. I am afraid to go to the store. I don't know when I will be ready. I don't trust myself.

I had to change up my after work routine too at first. i switched grocery stores to one that did not include a liquor store in the strip mall. ( in my state liquor is not sold with groceries). plan a grocery list and maybe buy your favorite dessert. Tomorrow you have got double digits!

Here in Indiana liquor is sold at grocery stores and drugstores. (even Walmart) No liquor is sold on Sunday. I have told myself I can go shopping on Sunday

Congratulations! Is there a time of day that would be less tempting for you to grocery shop? Mornings would have been less tempting for me than after work...4 pm was the "witching hour"!

Good for you! My Walmart has beer in the center isle of the store. I walked right by it like it was a case of beets!

Hang in there, you can only subsist on mac and cheese for so long.
