Hello, I'm new here. I don't even know where to start. I'm feeling very lost and alone. so I joined here...

I want to be sober but can only make it a week. This time I'm very serious. I can do this... I don't know what it's like to be sober I've been drinking almost daily since I was 14.... I'm 28 now.I want a real life, a real relationship, and real friends.

Anyway, I look forward to meeting all of you!

Welcome Carol.

I have found this site to be very useful both as a source of information and a place to vent and get advice. There is a lot of knowledge and wisdom in the people and posts on SR. So, keep reading and posting and I am sure you will be better off than before.

I too am new to this site as well. I stopped drinking three days ago and am already slowly noticing some differences. I wish you well in your journey.
