All that was mentioned before and:
achieving my goals;
getting rid of self-pity;
discovering new opportunities and challenges in life.

My sobriety pretty much gave me a key to the rest of my life, and finding a life I never thought I had. For the first time in my life, and this includes the period before I started using, I actually feel like a human being. It's a weird feeling to describe. Like I have lived in some kind of self induced bubble for 22 years.
My sobriety is the key that opens the door to a new me! New life, new opportunities, fresh new outlook on everything. A loving relationship with my daughter family and friends. Also to feelings that aren't hateful selfish and ignorant, thats new.
My sobriety is the key to having a clear sane mind, a working memory, and the abilty to see a bigger picture.
I need these three doors open to be able to begin to see what I want in life... and the best way to go about getting there.

My sobriety is the key that opens the door to:
The possibility of addressing personal issues that have prevented me from being happy. But I have come to realize that drinking probably didn't cause my issues but I can't work on them effectively when I am drinking.
Sorry not as upbeat as the others here, but that's the way I am feeling right now .

My sobriety is the key that opens the door to: pushing through, staying focused and having the confidence to FINALLY start my own nutrition consulting business and maxize our family's financial opportunities!
