I never know what to say here. I hesitate to start new threads, and I feel strange leaving comments on others' threads. Maybe it's because I feel as though I don't have any particularly useful pieces of wisdom to offer. Maybe it's because I'm afraid of leaving the wrong advice. I honestly can't pinpoint why, but I can say that SR is the only reason I have been sober for 40 days today. I may not post a lot, but I am here daily. Thank you guys!

i feel the same way a lot of the time. but grateful when i do post, i haven't been shunned

40 days is awsome, you now have a hole new life ahead of you, filled with hope and freedom.

Post your toughts and do give advice, in the 40 days I'm sure you learned tricks you can share. Sometimes the student becomes the teacher ;-)

EAE ~ I feel the same way you do. SF is the only reason why I am sober today. I don't post often, either, but I LOVE being able to log on 24/7 and get support. Sober Forums rules!!!

EAE you have 40 days! Do you know how impossible I thought it was to get even a week when I first came here? You have plenty to share . . . Just you posting what you did gives hope to everyone struggling with addiction that reads this. You are someone that put the bottle down and got 40 days! Amazing!

Jump right in and post whatever you want to. You never know what is going to help someone else, it could be the smallest thing. Just by your posting why you don't post often some other new people felt comfortable jumping in.
