16 months clean and sober

Haven't been around for a while. I rembered today that its been 16 months since I quit. I don't really think about it the way I use to. I live life these days. I'm still off some days and still deal with anxiety. But hey I'm glad to be this far along. The thought of never drinking again use to freak me out. Now I couldn't see my life any other way.

Congratulations! It is true, as unreal as it seems at first, that as sober time increases thinking about drinking decreases.

It's just sometimes it seems to move at a glacial pace.
