Day 7.....shhheww...glad its almost done
 

So, normally when I go visit my hometown for the day it involves alcohol. Mainly to numb so I don't have to deal with certain emotions and issues when I am down that way. We went to get our haircut, stopped to see a friend and then a family member briefly, did a little shopping and headed home, without stopping for anything to drink....besides a diet Dr. pepper lol! I realized whether I drink or not I am numb inside over certain things, and I hate feeling that way! Anyhow, it was really hard to not stop and grab some "medicine" but I drove right past! I still feel like a failure regardless, but one issue at a time..right?? Time for "The Walking Dead" since I missed it last night!!! Dam Zombies will probably give me nightmares but hey .....at least im sober :):):)

In my experience it took a little time to feel 'ok' again...I'd try not to worry...and try not to rush it Lola :)
