Geez, I read through a couple of my old posts and can't remember who wrote them. What a total nutcase, whoever that guy was, lol.
"do not wish to close the door on the past", yep, sure feels good not to think the way I did back then.
Who would have thought an ole drunk like me would like sobriety?
Do miracles really still happen or what?

I read my old posts to remind myself of where drinking always gets me. I was in the same place 2.5 weeks ago when I got sober when I did the same thing two years ago.
Helps remind where drinking ALWAYS leads back to. Every time. It won't ever change for me.
My posts from 2 years ago read exactly the same as my posts from 2.5 weeks ago before I got sober.

i read some of my old ones. i recall one i posted while i was still drinking "oh my God he knows!" realizing my husband would figure out i was just relapsing and relapsing. duh, who did i think i was kidding?! so many of those posts were so full of fear. i was was living in constant panic and fear back then. feels so much better now. i'm not afraid anymore.
