SO, the kid is carrying on and the ringing in my ears won't stop and I haven't even gotten out of bed! Not only this but the other adult in my house is arguing with the child in question and in my opinion they both are the same age apparently....Its going to be a looonnnggg Sober day!!

Yep, Day 5 is a tough one. I was very irritable and EVERYTHING got on my nerves.
Just wanted you to know that you are not alone. It is normal.
Plesae Do whatever you need to do to get through this process without drinking. It does get better. You can do it and you are woth it.

I admit to arguing with my step-son.....I then realized that I was acting his age and I was the parent. Funny stuff really. The things we learn as adults.
Do something pleasant for yourself today. Take a bunch of time outs if you need to. Hang out on here and let us know how it goes. You will be so proud of yourself when you make it through this day. Deep breaths my friend.
