What have you done today that you wouldn't normally do if you were drinking?

Gone to work (it's a Friday)
volunteered at a kid's fire prevention event
sat with my husband reading (he wouldn't be in the same room with me when I was drinking)

There was nothing I had to do today,so it would have been a bottle of whiskey kind of day but instead I went for a hike, that was tougher than expected but lots of fun. And had plenty of time to catch up on all kinds of household stuff. There is so much more time in the day when I am sober.

Little things in the morning like getting up early without an alarm. Enjoying coffee and reading before waking the kids up for school. I've always been a morning person but grogginess from boozing or raging hangovers kinda ruined my mornings. It really is a huge benefit I didnt expect to be able to enjoy early mornings again.
