Good morning


I just thougth I would share this little gem , I got last night from a great lead at my home group...

There is a kitten and a old wise cat. And the kitten is chasing its tail, like they do. And its going crazy round and round.

The older cat finally asks what in the world are you doing kitten?

Kitten respons with so much excitement , " I just got back from cat pyschology class. And we learned all my spritiual fullfillment is in my tail. So I am going to catch it one day and be that happiest cat ever."

And the old wise cat says to the kitten... I have been around a long time , and never been to this cat pyschology class. But I was taught be a another cat this...

My spiritual fullfillment is indeed in my tail. All I have to do is suit up, show up and do the next right thing. And it follows me everywhere....

Well you can read into it anyway you like..

For me it was , I was the kitten chasing all my happiness at the end of the bottle.

And until I surrenderd and grab hold of my program of AA and worked. I have recieved the benifts of doing a couple things.. Working the Steps. Not Drinking, Going to Meetings, And Helping Another Alcoholic..

I get to keep being the wise old cat.

And in doing so I am happy,joyous, and free.
