So I had my reasons

Went out and messed up my awesome new record of 29 days. Had my reasons but they really weren't good enough. F this s.

Eli ~ I'm sorry to hear that. It is tough. What is your plan now?

Natom 10-08-2012 03:31 PM

Eli,

Sometimes a slip allows us to really want sobriety a lot more. This was the case with me. Hopefully this will make you apply yourself more to your recovery.

Yeah my reasons drinking/using never made sense in comparison to the damage and destruction my drinking/using caused me. Stick with it!

So, what can you learn from this relapse, so it doesn't happen again? Good for you for coming back and working at your recovery again.

What's done is done - beating yourself up unmercifully will do nothing but make you feel worse, Eli

Your achievement is still there, all the things you learned over your 29 days are still there...

you just need to make a few adjustments :)

Like Anna said think about what else you could have done and make plans now to fix this...

I hope you'll look at your other thread Eli - you had some great advice in there.
