Sittin at the nail salon.....
 

So I decided to go get some me time this morning. Went to the nail salon and a guy was there with his daughters. He was sitting next to me in the waiting area. When he coughed I almost threw up. He reeked of stale bud light. He looked dreadfully hungover. I didn't give him dirty looks, I just sat next to him and prayed for him and for his daughters.

So I get home and tell my kids we are going for a ride to grandmas, hubby pops up and says yea! I'm going hunting then. :c004: um, I am going to a 7 pm meeting tonight. And he won't be home by then if he does go. Sorry, but wtf? Two days ago he was forcing me to go to a meeting, now it's all along his freakin schedule? So much for support. He told me on Tuesday, he would support if I quit. Well I haven't drank, I've gone to aa, and I want to keep going back. I am not drinking and he isn't supporting. Someone tell me what's wrong with this picture? I have even asked him to do some reading from alanon. I'm freaking lost as to what to do or say next?

Sometimes our partners will go and make those decisions that make us go 'huh?' :)

Have you spoken to your husband about how this makes you feel, ft?

I think the main thing is for you to keep your focus on your recovery. It's too bad your husband isn't offering support today, but you can get through it. If you can't get to a meeting tonight, you can hang out at SR for awhile.
