I have been busy with work, and occaisionally some depressing thought runs through my mind, and a few of those depressing thoughts later I want a drink! But I said no! You must hold on. Alcohol is not going to deal with your issues, it will just hide them under the rug, you got to wait to see the psychiatrist to deal with this stuff.

The good thing is I have been keeping busy, and will probably be up all night doing work. School just started, but with my set back of last week that lasted five days, I kind of didn't get much accomplished. I don't mind the work, I like to work, I just wished I got paid for it. Well back to my homework SR Goodnight or Goodafternoon depending where you are in the world right now

It's always nice to overcome the urge. My favourite way of doing it is when I get one to sit down for several minutes and think of all the bad things that my drug of choice led me too. You end up re-training your brain. It tends to work for me.

Glad to hear that you didnt take the easy way out. And do what we alcoholics know how to do, which is escape with drinking...
