Hi Everyone
Hi everyone, just wanted to introduce myself, i;m 145 days in and I'm taking it slow, hitting lots of meetings (aa) and starting to get involved. i love my home group, i've got a coffee commitment but I have a tendency to disengage after awhile and I dont want that to happen so I'm hoping by participating in these forums it will help it stick.
also i'm wondering when i get my turn on the pink cloud ;-)

Congrats then on 145 days jg! WooHoo!
Hey keep posting and reading. You are new enough to sobriety to connect with the newly trying. If you go over to Newcomers daily support forum there should be a group there that all quit on the month you did and you can join them too! Check out chat and be prepared to type fast!!
I can't type fast so make so many errors there are actually folks proud to claim they can read "Itchy!"

Welcome jg!
I'm not sure we can ever have too much support and I know you'll find a lot of wonderful, caring people here who know what we all go through trying to stay sober. Welcome and congrats on getting sober! 145 days is awesome!

Welcome and congrats on your sobriety! I never got the pink cloud in early sobriety. I worked my butt off to even manage day to day not drinking. But honestly? I prefer the way it happened to me. I put so much effort into building a strong foundation in AA that once the dark cloud lifted, it was felt like such grace was put into my life.
That pink cloud is fleeting. Keep doing what your doing and before you know it, you'll feel true peace in your heart

Hello and welcome
I always wonder about this 'pink cloud' business... I'm not sure I've ever been on it, or even know what it is... but if it's waking up every day knowing that my life is infinitely better now and I have a whole load of opportunities ahead of me, then yep, I'm on it!

Everyone has different rides in sobriety, especially when its related to the "pink clouds"..
You sound good, keep doing the next right thing. And all that is suppose to happen will..
Stay on the beam..
