4 Months Sober Today.
Britt,
I have enjoyed many of your posts here and look forward to many more. I can tell you that the cravings go away almost completely sooner or later, the timing is different for each. However I was not really feeling my recovery bennies until six months. Then later even more so. It does keep getting better. You will see if you just keep doing what you are doing, and more of it takes more. Sobriety, like alcoholism, takes a few years to take root again. Like replanting a plant, there is a stagnant period until the roots realize they are no longer bound by the confines of the place they were imprisoned, and now are grounded, and can grow again!
