What do you all do to find it. I walked, meditated, meeting on SR, OK doing better just can't relax sober I think. Thats pretty sad. I swear though just posting helps, very strange.

Fitz...I take it you don't want to knit. (Just a joke stemming from other posts I saw). I was only sober seven straight days last month and I practically had my house remodeled. I could not sit down. I cleaned, cooked, walked, did some projects but I could not relax.

Its ok just get freaked. Sis just called "How are you" but I know what she meant but how do you live down your addiction. All I can be is sober, I can't be over sober to make up for it. no I am not a knitter. I am hyper but reading poetry of all things. Over 6 months now, I;m making it, At least today.

Hanging wash is peaceful for me. Doing dishes too. Baking cookies or making pasta sauce.

By the way I like that post you did awhile back that talks about being a servant and friend to every living being on the planet.

Remembering to breathe and say Ommm and no worrying allowed.

I hate the "label". It's like the minute I say I'm getting sober, I'm the alcoholic with no personality and not a person anymore. I look down on myself enough. I don't need everyone else doing it. I think that's one reason I try to do this myself and not make a big deal out of it.

I had the distinct feeling you didn't knit after the "all man" post.

I can see where the poetry book would be calming. What book is it?

Knitting is no joke. Knit knit knit knit knit knit knit knit and at the end you have a pair of socks. You can start with a scarf. A lot of peace in creation.
