Why is it so easy to forget how good it feels to be sober.

I'm not sure. And I forget how terrible it is getting drunk. That's one of the reasons I go to AA meetings, so I can get frequent reminders.

Well day 2 today. To not drink on a Sat night-I'm so pleased.There've been nights recently I've not drunk but as I've had work the next morning.The ONLY reason I didn't drink last night was because I want to stop drinking and live a sober life. Had a lousy sleep,as expected and feel rough today,also expected but it will get better. Onwards and upwards!
