Went to a meeting today and this guy next to me had this like I Love Jesus cap on and I had some kind of Buddhist cap on and we're looking at each other and then I think we were sitting side by side in an AA meeting and we just started laughing. It disrupted the proceedings but we didn't care.

Actually we put up chairs together. If you get one inch below the surface there is only the same.

I do that, too. I wear my nontheist tshirt (flying spaghetti monster) and she wears all her crosses (rings, earrings, necklace). We sit next to each other for the meeting and then go have coffee after.

I love AA.

I'll do a meeting today but won't serve coffee. I really like setting up and taking down chairs. I never talk in meetings but I think I'm well known. i really prefer SR but no chairs to set up. I seriously do like that.

That's awesome. Long time ago in catholic school I took a world religions class, taught by a nun. one of the first things we learned was that "religion is man's response to the mystery of life." That is, all religions at the core are basically the same.
