As the song says, There should be sunshine after rain, there should be laughter after pain. I've been sick for a week and feel normal today which feels great. I quess I feel that way about my sobriety. If I hadn't not had it for so long I don't know if I'd appreciate it so much. I can go to the store today and not worry about a DUI, I can watch a movie tonight and actually remember it, I can chat with someone and maybe not be an idiot. To feel normal after feeling abnormal for so long is like feeling well after being sick. I can't take it for granted, its a blessing.
