2 Days down, still no cravings is this weird?
 

2 days sober and still no cravings or temptations. Is this unusual? I drank heavily every day for over 10 years and I have no desire for a drink right now. Are the gods of booze setting me up for something? Is Jim Beam is going to ride in on a Budweiser clydsdale and drag me to the liquor store? I am just trying to be prepared for any psychological or physical temptations or manifestations common in the recovery process. Thanks to all for reading and any advice!

Every detox I had was different choppersled - sometimes I went through hell...other times I had no apparent ill effects...

maybe this time you got lucky? :)

just don't do what I did sometimes and use the lack of withdrawal symptoms to convince yourself you have no problem....
