Long time no see ;)
Well has been quite the journey, i actually have no idea where to post this lol so i am just doing so here & im pretty sure Dee will move it to where ever it needs to be!
I actually have not thought of this forum for so long & today i got an email for my birthday & was like OMFG how long have i not been on for!!
Plus i owe a couple of thankyou's to people who had written me while i was in rehab, i stuck out Kuitpo (which due to aussie gov fund cuts is now closed) for the 5 months an graduated in jan of 2011, i am now 2 years & 2 months clean.
Upon leaving kuitpo i packed up my life n home in the city & moved out of government housing an into private rental in a little town called Port Vincent on the Yorke Peninsula in South Australia.
Life is very very different today, i am engaged to be married, our wedding is in september next year, we have my son Jai who is now 9 with us an our 10month old baby girl Nevaeh & i am pregnant with our 2nd child due in may next year.
My hubby is a recovering addict or rather alcoholic also he is near 2 years clean an works his butt off painting houses an working in the harvest season out here to support his lil family, we have had our up n downs but after i put my foot down an reigned him in lol (with an extra trip to rehab for him an the awesome support of kuitpo staff) we are living a very productive happy healthy life, got money in the bank which is a first for me, i do a little work cleaning every now an again as this is a seaside holiday town, but not much im happy being at home with the kids as long as he is happy being the bread winner... he is greek so no issue there lol!
I could not want for a more stable an happy life true, went thru alot of hard times to get to where i am an i am awesomely proud of what i have & who i am today, recovery is possible, im living proof of it, you just gotta make a decision an stick to it & finally when your sick n tired of being sick n tired you'll do it....
I hope all is well with many of you i know an those i dont 7 if not know that it will pass, everything does.
