Thank Someone on SR who has Inspired or Helped You
I have no words.
Thank you to every single SR staff person, every member, and every guest.
Thank you to the Internet, to smart phones, to satellites!
Thank you for the grace we all get to share, everyday.

What time is it where you are dear SFMS? Is it nice out?
Here it is about 15c which I think in US speak is around 60f (in other words pretty cold for this time of year brrrr but sunny!)
I am in the middle of making a tomatoe sauce lamb stew for supper - I don't eat a lot at the moment so have to force myself to do so every day.

I would love to have sunshine every single day - you are very lucky to be there even though you may not think so sometimes :>

Thanks to the old timers for wisdom & encouragement.
Thanks to newcomers for their courage & frailty.
Thanks to my class of January, Nonblondechef, Dark Days, Nel, Seanie, Faceitandfixit, Katrinka, Billy Pilgrim, Limbo & all the others who are out enjoying sober life.
Thanks to Dee & the mods! And all those that spend their time & energy helping newcomers. Too many to name!
Without SR, I would still be lost in the vicious miserable cycle of alcohell.
This place gave me the strength to get out of the pit of addiction & live my life sober, free & happy!
Thanks for this thread!!! SR is awesome.

So many amazing people, I have had the opportunity to thank some of them personally in threads & PMs.
Everyone here adds to these wonderful forums, whether you are a lurker, still drinking, struggling or have your recovery all figured out (or somewhere in between for most of us ;-).
If you are reading this then I would like to say

To even begin to try to name all of those that have helped me would be impossible for me. I am afraid that I would forgot someone that means alot to me, so let's just say that this forum has saved me, and everyone who has spent their time giving me their compassion and wisdom - well, I don't even have the words for the gratitude that I feel. Not feeling alone and feeling understood has changed my life. I love you all.
Tanya, thanks for naming me.....that made me feel good.

I want to put a word in for anyone who's not been namechecked here too
There's a lot of people who go around quietly here, they don't stick their heads up much....but what they have to say is so often simple, beautiful and profound
I spend a lot of time reading posts here - some of the best recovery literature I've ever read comes from this website and this forum.
We're a community - and every poster plays their part IMO
Everybody who's ever contributed to this site has helped keep me sober - and I thank you all for it.

i can't even begin to name all the people who have inspired, coached and helped me in my sober journey. this website is so much more than a forum i visit to waste time or a place i go to to burn off a craving. it's like walking into a room full of friends who are full of hugs, humor and sage advice. sharing, caring, crying and laughing together. and to witness and be a part of the loving humanity shown to the new people who have the courage to come her daily looking for support is a gift i never expected so thanks to all the newbies. y'all inspire me every day! if so many people can make that difficult choice every day to reach for sobriety, i know i can make the choice to maintain mine. i love each and every one of you and my life is richer from knowing y'all!
