Congrats on 3 days!!! That's fantastic!!

I remember the days of the shakes and anxiety. It's an awful feeling, but it goes away. As the booze leaves your system your body works OT trying to adjust but it all calms down. The longer you are sober the better you will begin to feel.

krs...i'm on day three also...we can do this together.

I'm not shaky, but very witchy and i did wake up sweating this morning.
I really thought that would be gone. My worse problem right now is boredom.
I honestly don't know what to do with my time. I have cleaned, put dinner in the crockpot, taken a walk, etc... I'm fresh out but determined to get past today as day three is usually always my fall down day.

I do believe the walk really helped the anxiety if you want to try that.

I have been edgy on and off all day. Anxiety is horrible. I find breathing and meditation helps

Day 4 for me and I am the same. The house is spotless, the kids stuff is all ironed, the washing basket is empty... I'm now taking a break from the ironing!

Might go prepare the vegetables for tomorrows Beef stew..

I can't keep this up every night! There is only so much cleaning a woman can do!

Not sure if you've seen a Dr yet or not krs, but don't hesitate to do so if you feel unwell or concerned about your health.

It's always a good option IMO.

Sugarfix...I think we need to get a hobby, but I've been drinking for so long, I don't even know what I'd like to do.

This forum is truely helping me get over the afternoon slump. I looked forward to seeing how everyone was doing all day instead of the "old" am I going to have a beer or not?

Yes we can all get through it

I just got more anxious reading the post someone wrote about Sociopaths!! LOL

I think we can sometimes think and read too much!

Its almost 11pm here.. I am wide awake. Am going to carry on reading that ebook then do a little bit more ironing to make life easier for me in the morning...

.. then watch a romantic happy movie

Anxiety and over thinking is horrible. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy (if I had one!)
