Best Step 1 Summary I have heard to date
Hi all
Hope everyone is doing okay or heading to being better.
I have a favourite AA meeting I go to and its quite a cast of characters as most meetings are. One person though came up with a summary of step 1 that just resonated really deep with me
"Alcohol , my mind can't take it and my body can't leave it alone"
This just leapt from the sound waves in the room really deep inside for me for some reason. I know a lot of folks can express a lot of things different ways but thought this was so compact and fit my inability to ever drink normally that I was floored.
Day 13 felt good and staying on the plan and in the meetings which are a big part of a proper plan to get well.
