im a 17 year cancer survivor and I guess i have been using that for an excuse to stay hopped up on painkillers......hopefully this place will give me more support than what I receive at home

I would speak with a doctor, and a therapist as well. It's good you at least recognize this early on and want to get help. I'm sorry you're not getting better support at home. The people on SR are awesome... you'll get a lot of knowledge and support here.

I have zero support, just SR. it's a wonderful community. So glad you survived cancer. You can survive this too!! Welcome!
