Just For Tomorrow
Just For Tomorrow
"Just For Today" is turning out to be a tough order. Is there a group for "Just For The Rest Of The Day" or "just for the next hour" Does anybody want to celebrate the success of me not using right now? Can I get a clear key tag for 1hour of clean time?
I feel like I'm going to white chip forever. But I'm not giving up. I'll be at the 12 o'clock meeting.

Dear Voyager,
there are approximately 300 Sextillion stars in the universe - for every second that you stay clear, I will name a star after you ok ;?
Can you get out and walk/run or do anything exercisey to release those fab endorphins? Drink plenty of water as that activates the happy ones too.
You are not alone.

Voyager, it helped me to narrow my focus down to shorter and shorter time periods, from not drinking today, to not this hour, to not this minute. I finally decided that I would never drink now, sort of a mind trick. Surely I can not drink for a moment, right?
Whenever the urge came by to stick its finger in my eye to tell me again that I just had to have a drink right now, I could look at this urge, watch myself like a fly on the wall, notice the feelings I had around this urge, narrow my focus to the present moment, and then let the urge go away. And it did go away, every time. I can even tell you that it always will go away for me. Always.
I know with certainty that you can quit drinking. Of course you can, Voyager, anybody can. Believe that you can do it, and then do it!

Let's have clean time right now! Thanks for this.
